The chemistry Department of the S.P.H. College was started in 1990 along with the establishment of the college.The department distinguished itself with good strength of students and good results.There are various opportunities available for chemistry students like different pharmaceutical ,agrochemical ,chemical industries, government Departments like forensic science, ONGC, teaching etc.
