Procedures and Policies for Infrastructure

1. The institution has a firm policy to provide sufficient infrastructure for effective teaching and learning. It is discussed and planned in College Development Committee meetings. Requirements are demanded from various departments and submitted to the Principal through IQAC. After discussion and as per requirements IQAC forwards it to the Principal, institutional Purchase Committee and the CDC. Expenditure of the maintenance is also decided in CDC meetings and resolutions are passed.
2. Decisions and policies of CDC are sent to the higher authorities of the parent institution for approval.
3. Quotations are collected from the academic vendors, after the approval from the General Secretary and the Coordinator of the parent institution.
4. After allocation of the funding from the Parent Institute, and funding agencies such as UGC, DBT, DST, CSIR, etc., the College develops basic infrastructure of buildings such as classrooms, laboratories, seminar hall, facilities for indoor and outdoor games etc., along with necessary furniture.
5. Architects/engineers of the Institution allot the budgets and as per the availability of the funds of the college, these infrastructural facilities are made available.
6. The college maintains adequate sports facilities and a playground (area of about 6.5 acres) for different kinds of indoor and outdoor games.
7. The college provides high speed internet and wi-fi facility for enhancing educational and operational efficiency.
8. The college website has been updated periodically, with the help of IT department of the parent institute.
9. The college library is automated with library software (Vriddhi) and is continuously upgrading to a barcode version. It has LAN and Internet facility.

Future Plans: -

1. To purchase and upgrade software/s for Mathematical modelling and Statistical Analysis.
2. To develop the virtual classroom/s.
3. To purchase technology-based instruments for developing digital classrooms, for more effective teaching and learning process.
4. To build more number of classrooms and laboratories.
