NSS Activities 2017-2018
Introduction and Objectives
NSS is an important scheme working under the motive of “Not for Me but For You”. The main objective of NSS is to create social awareness and social attachment, minimize the distance between urban and rural, and develop the national integrity and brotherhood among the people of society. NSS is one of the essential activities for personality development.

Regular and Special Camp Activities:
1. The inauguration function was held on 21st Aug. 2018 at the auspicious hands of Hon. Pinam Raut, Police Sub. Inspector, Malegaon. President of the function was Prin. Dr. Ujjwala Deore. NSS Programme Officer Prof. D. A. Pawar, Dr. Rajashri Sawant, Dr. Deepanjali Borse and NSS Volunteers were present for the programme.
2. In Plantation Week, 1 July to 7 July plants have been planted in the college premises.
3. Blood donation camp was organized on 1st August 2017.
4. “Clean and Healthy India” Campaign was organized during 1st Aug. to 15th Aug. 2018. College campus, library, adopted village, Hospital, Orphanage was cleaned during this campaign.
5. NSS volunteers Ms. Mayuri Nikam and Harshada Nandan participated in SRD/NRD tests at Niphad College on 18th Aug. 2017.
6. Ozone day was observed on 16th Sept. 2017.
7. On 24th Sept.2017, NSS-Day was celebrated by NSS Volunteers.
8. Essay Competition on ‘Hand wash awareness’ was organized from 15th Sept. to 2nd Oct. 2017.
9. NSS Special Winter Camp organized on 18th – 24th Dec. 2018 at Rokdoba Nagar, Dabhadi.

1. The inauguration function was held on 27 August 2018 with the auspicious hands of Hon Ratnakar Navale, Sub Divisional Police Inspector, Malegaon. President of the function Prin. Dr. Subhash N. Nikam, NSS Programme Officer Prof. D. A. Pawar, Dr. Rajashri Sawant, Dr. Deepanjali Borse and NSS Volunteers were present for the programme.

5. 8th Sept.-World Literacy Day was celebrated by NSS Volunteers.
6. Various activities were carried on ‘Swatchhata hich Seva” Cleanliness is the only Service, Campaign on the occasion of NSS Foundation Day on 24 September 2018.
7. Debating Competition on “Life and Work of Mahatma Gandhi”, Lecture on the topic “Ahimsa” delivered by Dr. S. D. Khairnar and Cleanliness campaign and street plays were organized during 28 September to 2 oct. 2018 on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi jayanti.
8. Constitution day was organized on 26 November 2018
9. AIDS Awareness Programme was organized. Rally was conducted on 1 December 2018. NSS Volunteers participated and performed street plays.
10. NSS Special Winter Camp organized on 18 December to 24 Dec. 2018
at Rokdoba Nagar, Dabhadi.
11. Survey was conducted for Homeless people, “Begharana Niwara” lived
in the jurisdiction of Malegaon tehsil on 24 Jan. 2019.
12. Participation in Voter day Programme on 25 January 2019. Students and
NSS Volunteers took an oath for giving the Vote on this occasion.
13. Participation in Republic Day Programme.
14. World Women day celebration on 8th Mar. 2019.

Deore, Prof. D. A. Pawar, NSS Programme Officer Dr. DeepanjaliBorse, Dr. Ramesh Nikam, Shital Salunke and NSS Volunteers were present for the programme.

3. Participation in Disaster Management Programme from 22/08/2019 to 28/08/2019 organized by S. P. Pune University to help the flood affected areas at Kolhapur and Sangali.
4. Teachers Day celebration on 5 September 2019.
5. Organ Donation Campaign- Rally was organized on 11/09/2019 and lecture was delivered by Prof. NavneetaDesale
6. Cleanliness Campaign- “NirmalyaSanklan” on the occasion of Ganpati Festival at Rokdoba Nagar, Dabhadi on 12/09/2019
7. NSS Foundation Day celebration on 24/09/2019. Essay Writing Competition was organized on the topic “Health and Hygiene”.
8. Mosam river cleanliness campaign, cleanliness campaign and Health and Hygiene Survey at Rokdoba Nagar, Village cleanliness Campaign and street plays were organized during 28 September to 2 Oct. 2018 on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.
9. Help to Handicapped Voters on the Assembly Election Day on 21/10/2019

16. Celebration of “World Women’s Day” on 08/03/2020. Alumni students
who achieved success in various fields were felicitated on this occasion
by the president of the function Prin. Dr. Ujjwala S. Deore.
